ABOUT

Hi! I’m Aseye - a creative commercial photographer, specialising in food and product shots, working out of my studio in Accra, Ghana.

​I cut my teeth in a startup advertising agency as a social media manager, creating digital media content and campaigns for brands. I very quickly discovered that it was the photographic process that exhilarated me and drove me to swap my desk for the camera.

I enjoy experimenting with vibrant pops of colour, texture and evocative lighting. My work usually tends to be minimalist and is heavily inspired by vivacious cities like Accra.​

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m probably deeply immersed in a documentary or having a cold Guinness on the beach. I absolutely hate tomatoes but I love Sunday mornings, rooftops, tea, road trips, and rain.
